As a matter of practicality, some files output by AI are not set up properly to be useful. For instance, if you were to use an AI design tool to make a logo for you, the underlying lines that make up the appearance of the logo can be a jumbled mess. This is referred to as AI slop.
While it may not seem like an issue at first, in order for your logo to be used for professional printing or embroidery, the files can require more time to clean up than would be needed to create them originally.
As a matter of principle, using artificial intelligence for design is avoided because of the way it appears to work. An AI machine may analyze thousands of other artworks to be able to regurgitate those ideas and then do so without any regard to copyright.
Not to mention that “if you don’t use it, you lose it.” If we no longer take the time to think, write, and create on our own, that will inevitably lead to intellectual atrophy. And one of the greatest joys we can have is a sense of accomplishment. How can you get that from simply writing in a prompt to have something created?
We prefer to design the old fashioned way. We take the time to listen to what your vision is, do research, brainstorm, draft up ideas, and ask for your feedback along the way. We want to assure you get the design you want and with a personal touch.
